Sub-Area Boundary

Skagit County defines the South Fidalgo Sub-Area as "those unincorporated lands west of the Swinomish Channel on Fidalgo Island, excluding the Anacortes Urban Growth Area and those lands within the Swinomish Indian Reservation." Skagit County Ordinance #18375 (2001) at 9 [18mb PDF].

For the purposes of South Fidalgo Community Council elections, the sub-area boundary is that area encompassed by the Fidalgo, Rosario, and Dewey voting precincts. To be eligible to vote in a community council election, a resident must be registered with Skagit County to vote in one of these precincts. Check your voter registration online.
