South Fidalgo Information Session and Fundraising Supper

Meet your south Fidalgo neighbors and catch up on activities that impact the unincorporated area of Fidalgo Island. The South Fidalgo Community Council is sponsoring a community information session and chowder supper catered by Bob's Chowder Bar on Wednesday, July 22, at the Dewey Beach Fire Hall. The evening's event is open to the public; a donation is requested for the supper. Funds raised will support the council's upcoming election in November.

The information session begins at 6 pm. Council members will outline current projects, discuss the upcoming fall election, and welcome audience comments about issues relating to life on south Fidalgo.

A hearty dinner of clam chowder, Caesar salad, garlic bread, beverages, and dessert, provided by Bob's Chowder Bar, follows at 7pm.

Candidates are currently being sought for three positions on the South Fidalgo Community Council. Candidates will be elected for a term of four years. The deadline for candidates to file for office is Monday, August 31. For Information on filing, visit Registered voters in the Dewey, Fidalgo, and Rosario precincts are eligible to run for office and to vote in council elections.
